This Aspen engagement session was off the charts! When Amanda realized I’d be in Steamboat Springs, CO photographing a wedding, she asked if I’d consider meeting them in Aspen for their engagement shoot. Ummm… twist my arm, YES! Stunning views, perfect weather, and an adorable couple- check, check, check. I have spent some time in Aspen (my screen saver is still a photo of Maroon bells, haha) and have ALWAYS wanted to photograph a couple with these incredible backdrops. I guess I can check this one off of the bucket list!
It was an early start to the day but totally worth it, we headed to Maroon Bells before the busloads of tourists arrived. Then off to the top of the mountain, and wrapped up in Basalt at the family ranch. Blue skies, crystal clear water, breathtaking views in every direction, what more can you ask for??! Plus Amanda and Mason are pretty easy on the eyes, AND they were up for anything. The day flew by, we had so much fun!
