If there is one person that can talk Brandon into just about anything, it’s Amy. But she didn’t have to talk him into falling for her, he was a goner the moment they met. Tall, blond, blue-eyed, and funny… he was ready to sign up! Their friends are pretty great too, in fact at the first site of rain the groomsmen rushed to nearest Walgreens and bought every umbrella they had! A little drizzle didn’t deter us from taking photos around town, the bridal party stuck it out even when the wind picked up. Amy’s family showed off their awesome Canadian humor during their speeches, complete with a poem from Amy’s mom stating that Brandon met Amy’s criteria by being “tall, dark, and cuddly!” I am in agreement that this couple’s “cute” factor is off the charts, they are wonderful to be around and their wedding was the perfect party right down to the Toms shoes on Amy’s feet.

Brandon surprised her with a match to her wedding band!

Amy sent Brandon a terrific watch.

Time for the first look!

The weather wasn’t exactly cooperative…

Amy and her sisters are so funny together.

Love this spot!

The “epic” shot…

It just so happened that a surprise proposal was underway and Shane Welch was the incognito photographer!

Ceremony time…

Amy was all smiles!

My favorites!

Dance party time! Kristin from Toast and Jam got the party started.

You could say they had a lot of energy!

Congrats Amy and Brandon, may you always be each other’s love bugs!

Q&A with the bride and groom:
What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Amy: That’s a tough one. It was all so memorable. I loved the few minutes Brandon and I had to ourselves after the ceremony to have a cocktail and snack before we joined the crowd. It was nice to sit together in the quiet for a moment – the calm before the storm, lol.
Brandon: I loved our first look, and when we first saw how good the room looked.

What was your favorite detail?
Amy: The flowers – they looked so amazing!!! Seeing the room all done up before the guests went into the reception was so special, everything looked beautiful. I also loved the “here comes the bride” sign and the cute wagon my Mother and Sister in law helped to decorate for the twins 🙂
Brandon: I’ve never been a cake fan so my sister made a few individual cherry pies – delicious.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Amy: The whole undergarment debacle and the scissor work that had to be done – such a classy bride 🙂
Brandon: Turning around and seeing our friend Keith who came from another wedding down the street. We all just went nuts.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Amy: The best advice I got was to take a few minutes and just stand back and take it all in. It was nice to just look around the room and see all the smiling, laughing faces, of everyone you love. It’s pretty overwhelming.
Brandon: try to enjoy the day, it goes fast.

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Amy/Brandon: NOTHING

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Amy/Brandon: Anguilla for 5 days and St. Maarten for 7. It was amazing!
