Carly and Scott are electric. There’s a serious energy between these two, it’s quite possible they knew it was forever when they first met 6 years ago! You could say opposites attract… Carly is sweet and a little soft spoken (not to mention gorgeous, and just look at that BHLDN dress!!), and Scott is boisterous and always the life of the party. They balance each other out perfectly! Their wedding was a terrific mix of vintage and modern, from the lovely interior of the Palomar hotel to the soft and romantic flowers, and the pretty ribbon backdrop for the ceremony. (They even brought their dog for photos, so great!) Truly a beautiful wedding day for a beautiful couple!
Carly looked stunning! Did I mention that I LOVE her dress?!
Carly’s dad treated Scott to a proper shave…
Scott was decked out, complete with green socks, and he was ready to see his bride.

Q&A with the bride:
What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Carly: When we took pictures at Salvage One and got to spend one on one time. We also enjoyed seeing all our friends and family there to celebrate with us in a standing room only ceremony followed by a lot of fun, good food, drinks and dancing!
What was your favorite detail?
Carly: It’s hard to pick one. Everyone who helped us on our wedding day made everything look absolutely perfect. The ribbon arch and flowers added a special Carly and Scott touch which was fun.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Carly: When Scott had to wait for us to show up for the first look at The Wrigley Building for what seemed like forever. He thought he may have been stood up….oops
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Carly: Take time to enjoy each other and your day, because it flies by.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Carly: We have yet to choose a destination. I (Carly) would like to South East Asia and Scott would like to go to Europe. As of now our honeymoon money has been spent on Bulls Season Tickets that Scott has been waiting for two years for his name to be called.
Anything else?
Bethany, you were absolutely amazing and paid such close attention to detail. You were wonderful with our families and Scott’s defiance, although he likes the camera a bit more after a few pops. Everything was exactly what we had envisioned and we could not have been any more confident and comfortable with everyone who was there to make our day special, thank you 🙂
A little history:
How did you meet? (How long have you known each other?)
We met at work and have known each other for 6 years
When did you know he/she was “the one”?
Scott and I have always been very open and honest with each other. There is something about us that is electric and that when people talk about us they just know we belong together. I feel that I have known since I met Scott that it would be forever. I guess the saying is right that “You just know when it is right”. Scott and I have been through peaks and valleys in our relationship and I feel we both know that we can read each other so well and we care so deeply for each other that forever was easy and natural. We are the couple that finishes each other’s thoughts, even though we tend to problem solve very differently, we more likely than not end at the same place. It just seems like there is a reason we met and it is hard to put to words. We made it official on April 7, 2012.
