Going to the chapel  courthouse and we’re gonna get married….

Elana and Alan actually tied the knot in Mexico, they had a beautiful wedding surrounded by their nearest and dearest. When they returned to Chicago they still had to make it “legal” and obtain a marriage license from the courthouse. Although this procedure is very fast (the actual “ceremony” performed by the judge is less than 2 minutes. I swear!), they decided to dress up and take some photos around town. What a great idea! (thanks a million to Charlene of Sweet Chic Events for recommending me)

I met Elana and Alan at their place, we spent a little time roaming the Fulton River District and then headed downtown. It was a bit chilly out, I am so glad Elana braved the cold for many of these locations. Thanks again for letting me document your Chicago wedding day!
