Not only did this couple travel from Boston for their engagement session (although I can’t take the credit because they were in Chicago visiting family) but they were willing to brave the cold winds of Chicago to take some photos! We had our first meeting on Skype, so this was a wonderful afternoon spent getting to know each other in person. We tackled low temperatures in Millenium park for a while, then headed to Union Station to enjoy some warmer indoor shooting. They are perfectly comfortable together, relaxed and so sweet. I loved getting a glimpse into their relationship, and am very excited to photograph their wedding in Chicago next year. Thank you Jaina and Costa for being great models, beautiful and totally in love!
Jeremy Lawson inspired this photo at the Art Institute.
We found a heart carved into the bench, perfect for a ring shot.
I think this is my favorite.
Thanks again Jaina and Costa, you’re awesome!
