I’m pretty sure Kelli smiled for 10 hours straight on her wedding day, she could hardly contain her excitement! Her beautiful sisters and mother helped her into her dress, then it was time to see Dave for the first time. They picked a covered bridge- so lovely. The weather was terrific on this Fall day, with colorful trees creating an awesome backdrop for all of our photos as well as the outdoor ceremony and reception at Meson Sabika. Dave and Kelli were so happy it was contagious, the fun continued through the night as Amanda (Toast and Jam DJ’s) spun the tunes and Kelli’s parents busted a move on the dance floor. I ask couples after their wedding if they could it again, would they change anything… to which they responded “Nothing!” and after all the weddings I have witnessed I can honestly say that I wouldn’t change a thing either- their wedding was just right in every way.

I love this text message…

Her mom looked great in her dress.

Her dad was so excited to see her in her dress.

Meanwhile Dave was getting ready in another room.

Dave was ready to see his bride.

Their moment…

Then we met up with the bridal party for some more photos.

They felt like jumping…

Time to get married!

Photobooth overload!

Amanda rules- she dances, she spins, she puts out fires…

Kelli’s dad was ready to dance!

Q&A with the bride:

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Dave’s and my first dance and my sister Jenni’s toast

What was your favorite detail?
It’s so hard to choose just one- I loved the flower in my hair, belt and cake topper (all from Etsy shops) and our place card holders.  We used wine corks because Dave and I used to live out in San Francisco (I worked for a wine company) and that’s where we began our life together as well as our love of wine, so I love that was a special detail that represented something special about us.

Funniest memory from your wedding day?
It’s a tie between our ring bearer Noah REALLY not wanting to walk down the aisle and my parents tearing up the dance floor.

Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Soak in every minute of the day b/c it goes by so quickly!  Also, if you don’t have a wedding planner or coordinator, release yourself from planning mode.  You’ve been planning for 6,8,10 months?  Let the day take it’s course and enjoy it :o)

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Nothing!  I loved it all :o)  Well, maybe having the limo driver know where he was going…

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We haven’t gone on our honeymoon yet, but will be going to Vina del Mar, Chile right after Christmas- can’t wait!
