My meetings with Leah and Shawn seem to revolve around cold temperatures and crazy winds. The first time we met was during a snowstorm, and after rescheduling our engagement session due to rain, we were still faced with wild Chicago winds and drizzling rain for our backup date. Their excitement overshadowed the gusty weather, and we didn’t let the rain stop us from heading out to some great Chicago locations. They are a super fun couple to be around, they roll from big hugs right into laughter, a perfect combination of goofy and lovely. This adorable couple is the reason why people still try online dating- they found each other’s profiles shortly after joining and then hit it off right away in person, the rest is history. I had such a great time spending the afternoon with them, dodging the rain, wandering through Millennium park where Shawn taught me a lot about the landscaping and details I hadn’t even noticed before (he is a landscape architect), and then we treated our chilly bodies to some hot cocoa at Dunkin’ Donuts. I can’t wait for their wedding in February at the Stan Mansion, it’s going to be a blast!

Nothing like some crazy weather for that perfect “wind-blown” look.

Gorgeous!

I love Fall!

Time for hot cocoa! Shawn loves Dunkin Donuts.
