Hooray for modern dating! Not only did Leah and Peter meet each other via match.com, but they are a perfect match indeed (their wedding day was exactly 3 years after their first date!). I have never met a couple that makes each other giggle like these two. They are totally smitten and full of joy, they definitely light up a room. Peter is a total romantic (he proposed to Leah in Italy, looking out over the Mediterranean!), and Leah is one of the wittiest girls I know. Their wedding at Room 1520 was pretty perfect (thanks to Beth Bernstein and the SQN events team!)… actually scratch that- it was PERFECT! Forget Me Knodt rocked the room with gorgeous florals, Pure Kitchen Catering served delicious food, and Toast and Jam kicked out the tunes. Perfection!

Q&A with the bride:
What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Leah: I really loved the whole day, I don’t think there is one moment that sticks out as the most memorable. It was all just perfect and so much fun, which was exactly what we wanted. I have gotten a lot of teasing since the wedding about when I got the giggles during our vows, but I don’t think anyone was surprised.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Leah: When I got the giggles, uncontrollably, during our vows. So typical me. I still laugh when I think about it.
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Leah: Just have fun! And don’t be too stressed. And hire a planner!
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Leah: Not a thing – I really did love every second.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Leah: Spain. It was awesome!
A little history…
How did you meet? (How long have you known each other?)
3 years to the date (Memorial Day Weekend) was our first date. We met on match.com – a modern love story! I want one of those commercials, but Peter says no 🙂
When did you know he/she was “the one”?
When I realized I wanted to spend my time with him more than anyone else.
Describe the proposal.
Peter proposed when we were on vacation in Italy, in Positano, overlooking the Mediterranean. The setting was beautiful and the proposal was very sweet and simple – perfect.
