These two are as sweet as home-made chocolate chip cookies! Not only are they best-pals with one of my couples from last year (and they were in the wedding party), but they also live close by- I actually ran into Jeremy one night at the local market! They are both charming, unassuming, intelligent and fun. I was so enjoying their company during their engagement session that taking photos seemed like just an added bonus. We hung out at their apartment, had a cup of coffee, headed up to the rooftop for a view of the city, traipsed around Wicker park, and then headed downtown to the river walk and the Centennial fountain. It was a perfect afternoon. Now that the temperatures are dropping outside, we plan to meet again for some ice-skating. I can’t wait to see them glide around the ice, hopefully I won’t spend the whole time falling down! Stay tuned for our winter session in a month or two.

A couple of hugs in front of their new favorite vintage mirror (a recent purchase for their home).

A moment behind the water droplets of the fountain…

Congrats Lila and Jeremy, I will see you both soon for some ice skating!
