Monica and Ben are a well-matched pair. Not only is Monica a beauty queen, complete with perfect blond hair and stunning blue eyes (she looked so amazing!), but she is also the most organized bride I have ever worked with. She planned her wedding (with Ben’s help too!) down to the smallest detail, with a multitude of personal touches (Ben even designed props for the photo booth). The best detail was not one, but 5 wedding cakes! Ben is the life of the party and the comedic relief, and combined these two pulled off the best wedding day. From the beautiful love letters by Mark Twain read during the ceremony, to the raucous dance floor thanks to music by Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press, this wedding was a blast!
Monica picked a great color set, their invitations were perfection.
Salvage One is the perfect backdrop for a wedding dress.
I absolutely love that Monica and Ben walked each other down the aisle!
They sealed their marriage with their signature pinky swear!
The bridal party couldn’t resist hamming it up in this mock room.
Why have one wedding cake when you can have five? Awesome!
The reception became an instant dance party once Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press took the stage….
My all-time favorite of the night!
Congrats Monica and Ben, may your recipes for love always keep you happy and content!

Q&A with the bride:
What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Monica: Entering the ceremony area walking with Ben together and seeing all our friends/family waiting for us.
What was your favorite detail?
Monica: The custom menu cards & hand calligraphy for escort cards. The cake table.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Monica: Bridesmaid banter while getting ready. The stuffed tiger that the band brought making it into dances & the photo booth.
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Monica: Plan a wedding that you can pay for yourself to minimize family intrusion.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Monica: Wait for Salvage One to be available on a Saturday. We had some all-star guests, but more left early than we had wanted. I wouldn’t suggest a Sunday night wedding to anyone else.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Monica: W Vieques, Puerto Rico
