“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.” –When Harry Met Sally
It all began with beer and Jenga, and now these two are inseparable! Not only do Sandy and Corey love each other to pieces, they have an amazing friendship and never take themselves too seriously. We had a blast traveling around the city for photos, with giant balloons no less! Time spent with them means a whole lotta fun, and their core group of friends are truly outstanding. Their friend “Reverend” Shaun was ordained in order to perform their wedding ceremony, resulting in outrageous jokes and tears of laughter all over the room (he is hilarious!). Dinner was delicious, and the wild dance party that followed was nothing short of awesome (picture Sandy in her wedding dress dancing like a gangsta!). From start to finish, this wedding was fantastic (just like the two of them).
“I love that you get cold when it’s 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you’re looking at me like I’m nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night.”
Megan from Pistil and Vine dropped off the gorgeous bouquets.
Meanwhile, Corey and the guys were getting ready across town.
I love this first look so much!
Time to add in some balloons!
The girls were looking and feeling fierce!
The crowd below was having fun watching Sandy and Corey.
Then it was time to let the balloons go…
We headed back to Osteria Via Stato for the ceremony.
Can you tell Shaun (a.k.a. “The Rev”) is a bit of a ham?
Best new wedding ceremony tradition (starting now!): make a cocktail with ingredients representing your relationship and future, and then take a sip!
Elysia Root makes the prettiest cakes!
Party time!
Our attempt at a night shot was rained on, oh well.
Congrats Sandy and Corey, this is the start of something amazing!

Sandy & Corey: When we saw each other for the first time.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Sandy & Corey: Either the His-and-Hers Dance Offs (Corey and our friend Fred, and Sandy with our friend and officiant Shaun) or watching Corey’s nieces performing the skit from Seinfeld
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Sandy & Corey: It’s your day – plan the day for you, not for everyone else.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Sandy & Corey: Nope! Everything went just as we wanted it!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Sandy & Corey: We’ll be going to Italy next year. Can’t wait!
Anything else worth mentioning…
Sandy and Corey: We had the absolute best vendors we could ask for and completely recommend everyone we worked with!
A little history:
How did you meet? (How long have you known each other?)
We met at work four years ago.
Describe the proposal.
