What a great wedding… one of my favorite venues (Architectural Artifacts), and an awesome couple! Nancy and Erik are a great fit, not only do they bring tears to each others eyes when discussing their relationship (and you should have seen the beautiful tearful reactions when they saw each other for the first time at the ceremony), but they goof around and laugh like high school sweethearts. I love their style, and appreciated all of the wonderful details of their wedding day. They are a fabulous duo, with a common sense of humor, and their friends and family were all there offering lots of love throughout the day. They have a great future ahead of them, and I feel lucky to have been there to document so many special moments on their wedding day. Much thanks to Jeremy Bircher for being a fabulous second shooter, and to Nancy and Erik for being the groovy couple that they are.
The girls got ready at the adorable Mops Beauty Shop.
Blue steel!
There was no shortage of cool places to hang the dress at Architectural Artifacts.
The bridesmaids got a great laugh out of Nancy as they sang “like a virgin” by Madonna.
We couldn’t resist playing with these hand forms from an old glove factory.
Jeremy was hanging out with the guys on the first floor while the girls were getting ready on the second floor.
Great poster!
Beautiful votive candles hung from trees around the ceremony area.
Jeremy found some great props for creative ring shots while I photographed the couple.
Nancy models with the mannequins.
The king and queen.
We had fun playing with some of the giant letters in one of the side rooms, this might be my favorite.
Jeremy’s angle:
Not only did they have a great personalized bottle of Goose Island Root Beer as a party favor for the guests, but they had more Goose Island beers and sodas available than I knew existed.
Nancy’s mom gives a great speech.
The bride gets sandwiched on the dance floor.
Dena from Toast and Jam DJ’s rocks the party.
A few favorites from the “outta-the-box” photo booth.
Congrats Nancy and Erik!
