As I headed out to meet with Yiming and Justin it started to snow… it snowed and snowed, then snowed some more. But that didn’t deter us! They were getting ready for their wedding in China at the end of this month so they really wanted some Chicago photos. Although chilly temperatures and melted snow on camera lenses are not ideal conditions, we made the best of it and I dare say it was magical! They were fabulous models, happy to hug and laugh, even trudge through some serious snow banks and icy waterfronts. When our ears turned bright red from the cold (and noses too!) we headed indoors for some warming up. And then we topped it all off with a few wintery photos around the zoo during the last night of the holiday lights. Beautiful! I hope their wedding in China is a whole lot warmer, but just as gorgeous!
So pretty!
When we couldn’t take the cold any longer, we headed to one of my favorite indoor Chicago locations- The Palmer House Hotel.
And then a little reward- Molly’s cupcakes!
Snow+holiday lights= perfection!
Congrats Yiming and Justin, I can’t wait to hear all about your wedding!
